holy bible

We believe the Holy Bible, and only the Bible, is the final authority in determining matters of doctrinal truths. We believe The Holy Bible is the sole guiding principle for all mankind. Jesus Christ is the word of God that took on flesh and lived as a man. We believe the Holy Bible is infallible. We believe the Holy Bible was written by men but inspired by God through the Holy Spirit.

holy trinity

We believe in the Holy Trinity – God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit. All three work together to fulfill the will of God in the life of man, in their desire to please God.

1 John 5:7; John 14:26

Jesus

We believe Jesus is the only begotten Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary, lived as a man without sin and fulfilled his purpose by dying on the cross for the transgressions of all mankind. While on Earth Jesus was both God and Man, both defeating sin and working miracles, signs, and wonders. We believe atonement comes through the shed blood of Jesus. We believe Jesus is a resurrected savior who is now seated at the right hand of God. He intercedes for the success of the believer and will return to collect his bride (the church).

1 Timothy 3:16; Hebrews 4:14 -16; 2 Peter 3:9; Philippians 2: 5 – 11; John 14:6

Repentance

We believe once a believer repents their sins are forgiven never to be remembered by God who holds the final judgment of all deeds done by man. We believe Repentance is going beyond acknowledging and apologizing for sins committed; it’s asking for forgiveness with a sincere desire to change. We believe it’s personal and essential to hope in eternal life.

Acts 2:38; Luke 13: 2-3; Acts 3:19; 1 John 1:9

salvation

We believe we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation is a free gift from God that we could not work to earn. We believe salvation and redemption is without doubt a byproduct of the love that God has for mankind. We believe while we can’t work to earn it, it is mankind’s responsibility to appreciate grace not abuse it.

Ephesians 2:8 – 10; 2 Timothy 1: 9 – 10; Acts 4:12; Mark 16:16; John 5:24 – 25; Romans 10:8-13

sanctification

We believe once a believer receives the free gift of salvation through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus the process of sanctification begins. We believe Sanctification is an ongoing process of surrendering to the Word of God and God’s spirit. This process is a tool of God to transform man from his or her original sin nature to a Christ like, God honoring character.

2 Corinthians 5:17; Ephesians 2: 1 – 13; Romans 12; Galatians 5

Baptism

We believe in baptism by full submersion in water as an outward expression of a believer’s commitment to living out their faith in Jesus Christ after receiving the free gift of salvation. Baptism does not save us but brings into focus our commitment to walking out our lives as a new creation in Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:17; Matthew 3:13-17; Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 2:38; 1 Peter 3:21

The Church

We believe the Church is the body and bride of Christ that is established solely upon the word of God. We believe the Church goes beyond brick and mortar dwellings; residing within disciples who are called to show and share God’s love to all mankind. We believe God’s church is a place for all people to gather not to practice religion but instead assist in the process of cultivating relationships between mankind and God. Simply put, we believe God’s church resembles Heaven, made up of a host of sons and daughters of God within the Earth unified by his love. We believe the church has the responsibility of extending itself beyond its walls for the purpose of serving its local and global community.

Ephesians 4, 5:22 – 33; Colossians 3:15; Hebrews 10:25; Matthew 16:18

Marriage

We believe Gods plan and ultimate design for marriage is that of a covenant between one man and one woman. Marriage is sacred and is Gods gift to mankind.

Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4-6; Ephesians 5:21-33

Child Dedication

We believe in child dedication as a special moment in the life of the child where the parents offer the child back to God. We also believe that child dedication is a commitment by the parents to God in front of witnesses to model biblical principles and lead a God honoring life.
